Two-vehicle crash closes roads in Combes

Car involved in the two-vehicle accident

First responders were at the scene of a crash in Combes that diverted traffic.

The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. on the intersection of Texas 107 and Stuart Place Road.

Witnesses told Action 4 that traffic was rerouted after the crash.

The Harlingen Fire Department, Combes police, Primera police and DPS responded to the two-vehicle crash.

Authorities told Action 4 that a car was traveling westbound on Texas 107 when the driver made a left turn onto Stuart Place Road.

The vehicle crashed into a truck that was traveling east on Texas 107.

The identities of the drivers were not immediately available.

DPS said no major injuries were reported after the accident.

Traffic is currently back on route after the scene was cleared.
