Valley families welcome Leap Year babies

It only comes along once every four years, but the 29th day of February is here.
Those born or married on Leap Year only get to celebrate every four years.
While some are finally celebrating their big days, others welcomed new bundles of joy.
Officials with the Valley Baptist Medical System said six leap year babies were born at their hospital in Harlingen.
Another seven babies were born at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.
Parents told Action 4 News that they TMre excited their children were born on such a special day.
Maylee Valencia of La Feria said she and her husband Mario De Leon are already planning ahead for their newborn son Dominic Alexander De Leon.
Born weighing 6 pounds and 11 ounces, Dominic is one of six Leap Year babies born at Valley Baptist in Harlignen.
I've been hearing different things," Valencia said. I can celebrate it on the 28th or the 1st. The baby's not gonna have a birthday for four years but, we'll see."
