A Rio Grande Valley celebrity is in the national spotlight for his looks.
Tejano singer Bobby Pulido was chosen as one of the "Los 50 Mas Bellos" or "The 50 Most Beautiful People" by People en Espaol.
The Edinburg-based singer is featured along with 49 other Hispanic celebrities in the June edition of the Spanish-language magazine.
Pulido moved into the magazine's radar following his recent performance on the nationally televised dance competition "Mira Quien Baila" or "Look Who's Dancing."
Showing off his work at the gym, Pulido told People en Espaol that his training started while he was on the show.
The singer hasn't let up on his training and participated in a red carpet event for "Los 50 Mas Bellos" in New York City earlier this month.
Known for Tejano hits such as "Vanidosa" and "Desvelado," Pulido modestly told the magazine that never considered himself among the most beautiful.
"I worked hard on my body," Pulido told the magazine. "I killed myself at the gym."
