Vehicle caught on fire in Edinburg

Authorities are investigating the cause of a single vehicle fire that happened near the expressway in Edinburg.

The Edinburg Fire Department told Action 4 the vehicle caught fire just before 11:30 a.m. on the 900 block of East Wisconsin Road.

Edinburg police and firefighters were at the scene of the fire.

The fire lasted for almost half an hour before firefighters put it out.

Details on how the vehicle caught on fire was not immediately released.

No injuries were reported from the incident.
