Vote for your coach: Sharyland High School could win $25,000

The winner will receive $25,000 for their school //

Coach Ron Adame is one of seven regional winners in the ~My Plates of the Year TM contest and has the chance to win $25,000 for Sharyland High School.

This contest originally began to honor the best youth coaches in Texas and each candidate could win at least $3,000 for their school.

The coaches in the race are:

- Ray Biles, Lorena High School (Lorena, TX)- James Pullen, Magnolia Jr. High School (Magnolia, TX)- Eric Semifero (Plano, TX)- Trent Early, Shallowater Elementary School (Shallowater, TX)- Jimmy Eby, Hudson High School (Lufkin, TX)- Peter Morales, Coronado High School (El Paso, TX)

Coach Adame TMs focus if he wins the $25,000 is the high schools teams.

New weight room facilities and equipment would certainly be one of the priorities. We would use this money for new game uniforms for our teams that the kids really want, Coach Adame said on

Voting begins Nov. 22nd and will continue until Dec. 8th.

The coach with the most votes will be the ~My Plates Coach of the Year 2013 TM and win $25,000.

The coach who gets the second highest number of votes will receive $10,000.

Third place recipient will receive $3,000 for their schools.

The first place winner will also be awarded with a plate saying COACH13 for ten years.

The second and third place winners will each get a personalized license plates for five years.

The winner and ~My Plates Coach of the Year 2013 TM will be announced Dec. 9, 2013.
