Warrant issued for missionary worker involved in murder

An arrest warrant has been issued after a man was accused of taking part in the beating death of a Pharr man.
The Hidalgo County Sheriff TMs Department is looking for Everett James Morris after Jorge Olivarez was found dead on Wednesday near Military Road and Cesar Chavez in Hidalgo County.
He was last seen in Reynosa on Thursday and is believed to still be out of the country, according to the Hidalgo County Sheriff TMs Department.
Morris has a previous record, including one assault and three DWI charges.
He is an American citizen and has previously done missionary work in Mexico and Central America, according to authorities.
Evidence was seized at his home on the 1200 block of Buchanan in Pharr.
Police said Olivarez had previously been a house guest of Morris for a short period of time.
