Residents in one Rio Grande Valley neighborhood have more to worry about than just the rain.

Harlingen Water Works is releasing water from a line off of North 13th Street and East Tyler Avenue.

Action 4 News spoke with Harlingen Water Works Superintendent David Sanchez about the repairs.

Sanchez the line runs from a canal to City Lake and crews need to repair a leaking manway.

Crews are draining the line and are expected to make the repairs in the morning.

The drainage and repair work will not affect drinking water or water pressure.

Sanchez said the city will be getting its supply from the Dixieland Reservoir.
