Gwinnett County police have seized more than 900 pounds of methamphetamine, which they believe is one of the largest meth seizures in the country.
Police say they raided a house in Norcross around 4:45 p.m. Monday after being told a large amount of meth was being produced there.
Investigators confiscated 933 pounds of meth with an estimated street value of about $44.6 million.
Investigators have arrested 33-year-old Jose Galvez-Vela of Weslaco, Texas, and charged him with trafficking meth.
They are following several leads regarding the people responsible for producing the meth.
Investigators are not releasing further details, saying they don't want to compromise the investigation.
