Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a woman who went shopping with a fake $100 dollar bill in Harlingen.
It all happened at the Stripes convenience store off West Harrison Avenue and F Street last month.
Harlingen police told Action 4 News that surveillance cameras caught a woman using counterfeit cash.
The woman used the fake $100 dollar bill to buy cigarettes and rolling papers.
Investigators said the clerk gave her change and the woman left with a man in a dark-colored Grand Marquis.
The woman has not been identified but police released her image on Friday in hopes someone would recognize her.
