A woman will spend the next five years in jail after she was found guilty of causing a rollover while drunk while she was driving with a child.

It all happened back in August 2013 on County Road 200, north of FM 1762 in Raymondville.

The Willacy County District Attorney TMs Office said Jacqueline Roel Garcia was sentenced to five years in prison for two counts of intoxicated assault and two years in state jail for DWI with a child passenger.

The 35-year-old woman was found guilty for the rollover that left three people injured.

Texas Highway Patrol Troopers responded to the scene where Garcia reportedly admitted she had been drinking before the accident.

An investigation revealed that the Raymondville resident had an alcohol concentration of .09.

Garcia will spend a total of seven years behind bars for the rollover.
