Hurricane Kenneth has been quickly weakening over the Pacific Ocean, far off the Mexican coast.

The U.S. National Hurricane Center says Kenneth had maximum sustained winds of 90 mph early Tuesday, down from its top force of 130 mph .

It was centered about 1,465 miles west of the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula and was moving to the northwest at 10 mph.
