Mexican Armed Forces freed 29 immigrants who were allegedly kidnapped and held against their will in Tamaulipas.
According to authorities, the immigrants were held captive in a building in Reynosa earlier this week.
The Ministry of National Defense through the Commander of Military Region IV reported the group of people were:- 14 Mexican Nationals- 5 Guatemalan Nationals- 5 Honduran Nationals- 5 Salvadoran Nationals
The Mexican Army and Air Force said they are committed to keep the citizens safe and secure.
Details on why or how the immigrants were taken are not available at this time.
