Shootout leaves three dead, weapons found

A battle between two groups led authorities to weapons and left three men dead after the attack.

The incident happened Sunday evening at Ciudad Mier, near the Rio Grande River.

Two armed groups attacked each other, leaving three men between the ages of 20 and 25-years.

According to the Tamaulipas Coordination Group (TCG), one of the men is identified as Raymundo Rivera Mares, a Reynosa resident.

The two other men have not yet been identified.

Authorities recovered a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with Tamualipas license plates at the scene and the following weapons:

- 3 AK-47 rifles- AR " 15 rifle- Granada- 31 magazines for AK " 47- R " 11 clips for bulletproof vests double plate- 4 black trimmings

No arrestes were reported from the attack.
