Food Allergy Awareness - May, 16, 2018
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, at least four percent of children in the United States suffer from food allergies.
Celeste Gracias is a member of a local chapter of FoodAllergyAwareness.org. Gracias says the team offers local assistance to families of patients diagnosed with a food allergy by providing free information.
Gracias says residents who have questions or health concerns regarding food allergies can also reach out to get support. Food allergies can not be treated and they can be deadly.
