Action 4 News has posted an unedited copy of the police report for the DWI arrest of Brownsville Mayor Pat Ahumada.
Brownsville police arrested Ahumada on around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The officer allegedly saw Ahumada speeding on East Alton Gloor Boulevard.
The officer wrote in his police report that the tires of Ahumada's car went over the curb while he was turning onto Paredes Line Road.
Ahumada told the officer that he was leaving a friend's home in the Mission Trails Subdivision.
The officer wrote that Ahumada appeared intoxicated and had the two bottom buttons of his shirt undone.
Ahumada allegedly refused to submit to field sobriety tests and refused to take a breathalyzer test.
The police report shows Ahumada had two previous arrests for DWI but only one of them resulted in a conviction
Officers ended up charging Ahumada with driving while intoxicated second offense.
The Class A misdemeanor is punishable up to one year in prison and/or a $4,000 dollar fine.Click here to read a full copy of the report
