Suspect in deadly school shooting in Santa Fe charged with capital murder
17-year-old Dimitrios Pagourtzis, the alleged gunman in a deadly shooting at Santa Fe High School on Friday morning, has been booked into the Galveston County Jail on charges of capital murder.
According to officials, additional charges may follow.
10 people are dead and another 10 were wounded in the shooting. Gov. Greg Abbott said in a press conference that the shooter used a shotgun and a 38 caliber revolver, neither of which he legally possessed.
Pagourtzis is being held without bond.
