Delgado averaged 15.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game while shooting .684 from the field (13-for-19) in a 92-64 victory over Eureka on Thursday and a 75-70 win over 2012 NCAA Tournament participant Lamar on Saturday.
Delgado tied his season-high with 13 points against Eureka and then broke his career-high with 18 points against Lamar. Delgado tied his career-high with six field goals against Eureka and then broke it with seven against Lamar. He also tied his career-high in steals with a season-high three against Eureka and hit a season-high four free throws against Lamar.
Delgado hit what turned out to be the game-winning basket against Lamar, sneaking behind the defense during a full-court press and turning a home run pass into a right-handed slam to make it 72-62 with 1:40 remaining.
