Donna's Super Bowl Champion Returns To Be Honored By Redskins

Norm Evans' journey took him from Donna, to TCU, and then to Miami, where as the Dolphins' offensive tackle, he went to three straight Super Bowls, winning two in 1973 and 1974.

Today, that journey led Evans back to Redskins country, where today he toured the school and it's new athletic facilities, and also addressed the Donna students.

Tomorrow night at halftime of the Donna-Porter game, Evans will sign the gold ball sent to DHS by the NFL in honor of his two championships.

It is expected to be announced at that time that the field at Bennie La Prade Stadium will be named "Norm Evans Field" in honor of the 1961 Donna graduate.
