During an inspection of Ibarra-Espinosa's vehicle, officers found an "after factor compartment built beneath the gear shifter," according to the criminal complaint.

The criminal complaint goes on to read:

Ibarra-Espinosa remains in federal custody pending a detention hearing on Friday, according to court records.

An attorney representing Ibarra-Espinosa couldn't be reached for comment.
