Agents find over $1.8 million in cocaine found inside BMW SUV at Falfurrias checkpoint
Border Patrol agents made a big drug discovery over the weekend at the Falfurrias checkpoint.
We’re told that on Saturday, a BMW SUV was selected for a secondary inspection.
After a K-9 alerted on the vehicle, agents found 25 bundles of cocaine, or 58 pounds, worth an estimated value of over $1.8 million.
We’re told the driver of the vehicle, who was a U.S. citizen, along with a passenger, were both arrested.
The case has been turned over to the Drug Enforcement Agency for further investigation.
