Judges have denied bond reduction for two McAllen robbery suspects.

On Thursday, a judge denied bond reduction for 28-year-old Jorge Angel Rodriguez Mejia, according to Hidalgo County court records.

On Wednesday, a judge denied bond reduction for 26-year-old Miguel Quintanilla-Cardenas.

Their bonds will remain at $210,000.

Mejia and Quintanilla-Cardenas are the only two of seven McAllen robbery suspects who have asked for a bond reduction so far, according to Hidalgo County District Attorney Ricardo Rodriguez.

The seven Mexican nationals are accused of robbing a jewelry store at La Plaza Mall last month.

While all men were charged with aggravated robbery, five men also face a failure to identify charge.

They remain at the Hidalgo County jail on federal hold because of their immigration status.
