Border Patrol agents seize more than one ton of marijuana in South Texas

Border Patrol agents seized more than one ton of marijuana in Zapata County Wednesday.

The seizure occurred when agents observed suspicious activity in Falcon, Texas near Serna Street. Further inspection led agents and Texas Department of Public Safety troopers to 102 bundles of marijuana concealed in the beds and cabs two pickup trucks as well in a shed in the 400 block of Serna Street. Authorities estimated the drug load at $1,827,672.00.

No arrests were made in the case.
