Common-law husband of Alamo executive secretary charged
The common-law husband of Alamo’s executive secretary has been charged with tampering with evidence.
Eddie Ramirez,33, was charged Saturday at about 2 p.m. at the Alamo Municipal Court.
Bond was set at $40,000.
Ramirez was arrested Friday afternoon, shortly after Alamo Executive Secretary Crystal Garza was arraigned on an engaging in organized criminal activity charge .
Garza is accused of leaking sensitive information to “local drug dealers,” according to Alamo Police Chief Baudelio Castillo. Garza allegedly shared procedures and the addresses and identity of some undercover officers.
