Dalia Araceli Reyna-Arechar turned herself in to the municipal court after Rio Grande City Police Department issued a warrant for her arrest.
According to RGC PD Assistant Chief Jose E. Solis Jr, Arechar is a former employee of Raul’s Income Tax business in RGC.
She was arrested on February 13 on theft charges.
According to Solis, Arechar had admitted to stealing $3,000 in cash.
The owner of the business had terminated Arechar on May of 2018 after suspicion of theft. He then requested a police report to document he had terminated Arechar because she was stealing, according to police.
On January 2019, RGC PD obtained a video and receipts of Arechar stealing from the owner. PD issued a warrant. Her attorney then contacted PD.
Arechar was charged with a value of theft between $2,500 and $29,999,99.
Arechar was released the same day after posting a PR bond in the amount of $1,500.
