Fourth arrest made in Alamo security leak investigation

Original Story: Alamo police have made a fourth arrest in an investigation into an alleged security leak that police say put officers' safety in jeopardy.

Cristobal Godinez was arrested Thursday night.

Police say Godinez is “one of the major players on engaging in organized in criminal activity” in connection with a security leak in which sensitive information was allegedly given to local gangs by Alamo City Secretary Crystal Garza.

Garza’s common-law husband, 33-year-old Eddie Ramirez, and her mother, 54-year-old Janine Lynn Garza, have also been arrested in the case.

Godinez is expected to be arraigned Friday.
