McAllen police arrested 16 people during a two-day prostitution sting this week.

According to a several probable cause statements obtained by CBS 4 News, the McAllen Police Department Special Investigation Unit conducted the investigation regarding prostitution after receiving complaints of females offering sex in exchange for money throughout the city.

Investigators arrested 16 people, ranging in age from 20 to 74, during the undercover operation on Wednesday and Thursday.

Charges range from prostitution, a Class B misdemeanor, to online solicitation of a minor, a third-degree felony.

The following men and women were arrested in the operation:

  • Crystal Samantha Ledesma, 31, of Edinburg was charged with prostitution, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond was set at $2,000.
  • Erika Garza-Garcia, 43, of Rio Grande City was charged with prostitution, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond was set at $2,000.
  • Elizabeth Garza, 43, of McAllen was charged with prostitution, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond was set at $2,000.
  • Yesenia Enedelia Solis, 36, of McAllen was charged with prostitution, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond was set at $2,000.
  • Sandra Falcon, 39, of McAllen was charged with prostitution, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond was set at $2,000.
  • Saul Elly Garcia, 20, of Donna was charged with online solictation of a minor, a third-degree felony, and possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond was set at $52,000.
  • Jorge Luis Gonzalez, 60, of McAllen was charged with prostitution, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond was set at $1,000.
  • Jose Jesus Garza, 56, of Sullivan City was charged with prostitution, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond was set at $1,000.
  • Rafael Cordova, 56, of Mission was charged with prostitution, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond was set at $1,000.
  • Adonai Almendaris Diaz, 31, of McAllen was charged with prostitution, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond was set at $1,000.
  • Apolinar Guerrero, 61, of Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, was charged with prostitution, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond was set at $2,000.
  • Emilio Sandoval, 74, of McAllen was charged with prostitution, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond was set at $2,000.
  • Ramiro Trejo, 74, of Alton was charged with prostitution, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond was set at $2,000.
  • Sergio Arteaga, 35, of Pharr was charged with prostitution, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond was set at $1,000.
  • Sarah Janet Sanchez, 27, of McAllen was charged with solicitation by pedestrian, a Class C misdemeanor. A fine was waived in lieu of time served.
  • Lucia Saucedo, 48, of McAllen was charged with promotion of prostitution, a state jail felony, and engaging in organized criminal activity, a third-degree felony. Bond was set at $50,000.
