Mother charged after toddler found at Weslaco park
A local mother has been charged after her 2-year-old girl was found wandering alone at a Weslaco park over the weekend.
Anissa Flores of Weslaco was charged Tuesday with abandonment and endangerment of a child, a state-jail felony.
The girl was found at Pablo G. Pena Park Saturday evening. Police say the toddler's relatives claimed her hours after the incident.
Flores' bond was set at $30,000.
