One man charged in connection with shooting that left teenager dead

A 17-year-old has been charged in connection to the San Juan shooting that left one teenager dead.

CBS 4 has learned the identities of those involved in a shooting that left one teenager dead yesterday in San Juan.

16 year-old Ray Anthony Santa Maria died Thursday, Jan. 10 after police responded to a shooting at the 4300 block of Rosie Street. Two people were taken into police custody- 17-year-olds Ulysses Perales and Jose Perez.

Today, Perales and Perez went before a judge where Perales was charged with manslaughter as well as possession of marijuana and a controlled substance. Perez was charged with possession of marijuana and a controlled substance. Perez’s bond was set at $20,000 while Perales’ bond was set at $100,000.
