Over 60 undocumented immigrants arrested in five separate stash houses
U.S. Border Patrol agents, along with local and federal law enforcement, arrested over 60 undocumented immigrants in five separate stash houses in the Valley during the past few days.
The first came on Monday when Roma Police, along with U.S. Border Patrol Agents assigned to the Rio Grande City station found a stash house with eight undocumented immigrants inside.
The next discovery was made on Tuesday when Rio Grande City agents, along with the Rio Grande City Police Department, found a house with six undocumented immigrants inside.
Then on Wednesday, multiple agencies worked together to identify and disrupt three separate stash houses in Mission. We’re told a total of 52 undocumented immigrants were taken into custody.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection said the undocumented immigrants were from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Ecuador, El Salvador, Peru, Belize, and the Dominican Republic.
