Teen jailed for making sex abuse victims drink his bodily fluids

A Rio Hondo teen is behind bars following a sexual abuse investigation where he allegedly confessed to making his victims drink his bodily fluids.

Cameron County Sheriff Department deputies arrested 19-year-old Juan Henoch Mejia on Wednesday.

The Rio Hondo teen is accused of sexually abusing a 4-year-old girl and her 3-year-old sister.

Court records show that It all happened at a home off FM 1847 just east of Rio Hondo city limits.


Court records show that the investigation started on Tuesday when the 4-year-old girl complained about pain.

The mother took to the girl to the doctor and learned she had been sexually abused.

Doctors at the Valley Baptist Medical Center notified the Cameron County Sheriff's Department about what happened.

Action 4 News does not identify victims of sexual abuse but the records show that Mejia had access to the girls through their grandparents.


Deputies questioned Mejia and he allegedly admitted to the act.

Mejia told deputies the girls had walked in on him while he was arousing himself in his bedroom.

The Rio Hondo teen admitted to sexually abusing the two girls.

Mejia also confessed to putting his bodily fluids in a cup afterwards and then making the two girls drink it.

Court Appearance

Deputies arrested Mejia on two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Mejia appaered before Cameron County Magistrate Judge Luis Saenz on Thursday morning where he was issued $100,000 dollars on bonds.

Cameron County Jail records show U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents filed an immigration detainer against him.
