Year-old human remains found in Sullivan City
Pathologists say human remains found by Border Patrol agents in Sullivan City on Wednesday were there for about a year, according to Sullivan City police Chief Richard Ozuna.
Agents found the remains Wednesday afternoon while patrolling a ranch land 100 yards south of the expressway. Agents notified local police departments, which collected the remains and sent them to be examined by a pathologist.
Pathologists determined the remains were there for about a year and belonged to a man, who was most likely 5’5”.
Police also found personal belongings, but no identification.
The case remains under investigation.
