PD: Boy hung upside down, beaten to death is an American horror story

A couple in Pennsylvania is behind bars without bail after they allegedly beat a toddler to death with a frying pan while he was hanging upside down by his feet.

KHOU reported that Jillian Tait and her boyfriend Gary Lee Fellenbaum are accused of hanging the toddler and his 6-year-old brother upside down and beating them with a frying pan.

The abuse was so brutal; the couple killed the 3-year-old according to authorities.

According to KHOU, Chester County District Attorney Thomas Hogan said the case is an American horror story.

KHOU reported that the couple met while working at Walmart, and they moved in together in October.

Fellenbaum TMs estranged wife, Amber Fellenbaum, had also moved in with the couple and the two children, along with her 6-month-old baby girl.

According to KHOU, the six lived in a mobile home park in Pennsylvania.

Fellenbaum allegedly hung the 6 and 3-year-old boys TM by their feet during the beatings while he and Tait laughed.

The toddler died Tuesday during one of the beatings, and the couple put the boy in the shower and left to get food, according to KHOU.

Once the couple returned, they reportedly had sex and took a nap after moving the toddler to an air mattress.

Tait checked on the toddler and found that he was unresponsive.

That TMs when they called 911.

At this time the older child and the 6-month-old baby are in custody of relatives.

Fellenbaum TMs estranged wife has been charged with child endangerment and has been given a $500,000 bond.

Tait and Fellenbaum are currently behind bars with no bond.

They are expected to be back in court Nov. 14.
