Mexican telenovela star accused of stealing clothes from clothing store at The Rim

A well-known actress in a Mexican telenovela was arrested Friday afternoon for theft in the San Antonio area.
Danielle Stefani Arellano, 52, faces a charge for theft between $100-$750 after allegedly stealing from the Saks OFF 5th store at The Rim. A police report said Arellano, known as Daniela Castro, took clothes off the hangers and concealed the stolen items in a store bag. She went to the cashier and exchanged items, but did not purchase the belongings concealed in the bag. A loss prevention officer stopped her and took her into the loss prevention office, where she was arrested for theft.
The 52-year-old actress took three pairs of pants, a sweater, skirt, sportswear and wovens according to the police report.
Arellano played Roberta for 62 episodes in the Mexican telenovela, “Me Declaro Culpable," which means “I declare myself guilty” in English.
