Someone in San Antonio just hit the jackpot.

The Texas Lottery announced a $3 million winning ticket was sold in San Antonio for Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing. The winning ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven at 802 San Pedro Avenue near San Antonio College.

A magical ticket worth an estimated $1.6 billion was sold to someone in South Carolina, marking the largest lottery win in history. The winning numbers selected were 5, 28, 62, 65, 70, and the Mega Ball was 5.

The South Carolina Education Lottery posted initial information about the jackpot very early Wednesday morning. It came a short time after the numbers were announced on Tuesday. Exact details on where the jackpot ticket was sold have not yet been released.

The cash payout, should the winner decide to take that option, is $913.7 million.
