Dan is a morning anchor at CBS 4 so his day begins when most are ending theirs.
While he grew up in Ohio, he’s worked in Arizona, Oregon, and Texas. Some of his career highlights include covering the NBA Finals, Major League Baseball’s spring training, and the PGA tour.
He also proudly watched from the stands at Sun Devil Stadium as the Ohio State Buckeyes beat the powerhouse Miami Hurricanes 31-24 in double OT at the 2003 Fiesta Bowl to capture the BCS National Championship. And one of the most thrilling moments of his life was witnessing the Cleveland Cavaliers amazing comeback from a 3-1 deficit in the 2016 NBA Finals. Becoming the first team in history to do it, the Cavs beat the Golden State Warriors in 7 games ending Cleveland’s 52-year championship drought. Hopes are high that the Indians and Browns will soon be hoisting their own title trophies.
Outside of work Dan enjoys movies, TV, music, photography, and animals. He also likes to explore natural, cultural, and historical attractions while sampling the local foods along the way.
